Economist with expertise in energy policy analysis

I help organizations evaluate and optimize their energy programs, specializing in energy efficiency and electrification. I have a particular interest in air source heat pumps, geothermal, and solar PV. I also have experience developing expert testimony on utility demand-side management plans in support of statutory intervenors in public utility regulatory proceedings.

I love combining quantitative and qualitative methods to answer important policy questions, especially in time- and data-constrained environments.

I received my Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I served as an ELEVATE Fellow at the UMass Energy Transition Institute. My dissertation focused on the financial returns to solar PV in Massachusetts, including how rooftop solar panels are capitalized into home values.
